Metro Diner in Augusta Ga. - Chicken and Waffle paradise

I was passing through Georgia via I-20 and I needed to feed the beast! I was starving and something to eat before finishing a long drive. The Metro Diner popped up on an app as I searched for a place other than the normal chains. Oh my the menu is something serious.... I could not decide and almost ordered half of the menu but ordered the Chicken and waffles. 

Little did I know that this wasn't the average 2 piece and regular waffle! This was like half of Foghorn Leghorn(That big fast talking chicken from Looneytunes) and what they do at your table is make this maple hot sauce or spicy maple syrup that goes soooo good with both the waffles and chicken. 

If you are ever near Augusta Ga. do yourself a favor and make it your business feed your face in the place.

Conch Salad right out of the ocean made on the boat in the Bahamas. In the USA folks would be probably deal with this because he isn't using gloves and rinse everything with water from the sea. Well bon appetit for the guy that order this and I hope that he didn't need Pepto LoL!!!

Soak with beer over night. Then adapt 

to your favorite chili recipe using ground lamb.

Added more fresh  chopped tomato, garlic and

onions when it's almost done.

Served in a bread bowl.
